November 17, 2009 is a special date and also an unforgettable day for Vietnam TIENS partners. On that day, amid the convergence of flowers, colorful ribbons, singing and dancing, friends from all over the world gathered at the TIENS plant in Dai An Industrial Park to attend the opening ceremony of TIENS Vietnam Co., Ltd.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Wu Yiqun, Vice President of Tiens Group, first delivered an opening speech, he introduced the early stage construction and investment of TIENS Vietnam Co., Ltd, and expressed the determination and commitment of “serving the Vietnam market, rewarding friends in Vietnam” as promised by Tiens Group and President Li Jinyuan, and once again solemnly guaranteed that Tiens Group would become a model of legitimate operation in Vietnam, and reward the consumers with premium products. Finally, Mr. Bai Feng, Vice President of Tiens Group, explained the development and market prospects of the Asia-Pacific Region, the grand development blueprint stirred up excitement among the TIENS partners attending the ceremony.

Senior Vietnam government officials at all levels also delivered speeches, and highly praised the investment and plant construction by Tiens Group in Vietnam, and expressed sincere admiration and amazement toward the rapid and superior construction results of the Vietnam Production Base, they wished Tiens Group to achieve better development in the future.

Amid the cheers of the attendants, Mr. Li Jnyuan, President of Tiens Group, also delivered an important speech. He outlined the development history of Tiens Group and its current development, introduced the scale and treatment concepts of the International Health Industrial Park located in the Group’s Head Office, fully interpreted the operation concepts of “consumption brings wealth, managing consumption all the more will bring wealth”, and once again thanked all officials and friends who had helped TIENS. His speech ended with the thankful ideas of “thanks new friends, always remember old friends, in the future we are all good friends”, which brought the ceremony to a climax.

Finally, Mr. Huang Yongjin, Deputy Director of the Food Safety Administration Bureau of Vietnam Ministry of Health, issued the “Production Health License” of the Vietnam Production Base to President Li Jinyuan, which signaled that TIENS Vietnam Production Base was formerly granted health care food production license qualification, and also marked that TIENS Vietnam Co., Ltd could legally start production and operation in Vietnam.

The Project of TIENS Vietnam Co., Ltd started construction since May 5, 2009, and was completed on October 20, 2009, spanning only a total of 168 days, which created a new record in the civil engineering history of Vietnam. In order to commend Tiens Group’s outstanding project, Vietnam government specially awarded “Outstanding Project Prize” to TIENS Vietnam Project Team and Project Leader.

After the ceremonious ribbon-cutting ceremony, under the leadership of President Li Jinyuan, Vietnam government officials at all levels and TIENS partners visited the office building, inspection center, production workshop, warehouse, dining hall and tennis court of the Vietnam Production Base. TIENS partners couldn’t help exclaiming over the production scale and elaborate buildings of the TIENS Vietnam Base, and everyone busied themselves taking group photos at each venue.

The grand opening of the Vietnam Production Base signals that Tiens Group is now equipped with the ability and qualification to produce premium TIENS products in oversea locations, which provides powerful product source and guarantee for Tiens Group to expand oversea markets, and marks a firm stepping toward the goal of entering the Global Top 500 by TIENS in the earliest date possible. The grand opening of the Vietnam Production Base will leave a glorious page in the development history of Tiens Group.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony on the morning of November 17, President Li Jinyuan visited the local orphanage to inspect the children there. This orphanage with its main part housed in a temple was located in Giai Lâm County, and accommodated nearly one hundred orphans. As early as in 2008, President Li Jinyuan donated 100 million dong to this orphanage. One year later, President Li Jinyuan again paid a special trip to the orphanage to see the children there, and brought school bags, textbooks and clothing etc, which once more showed the care of TIENS. Local residents were all moved by the dedication of President Li Jinyuan to the public welfare undertakings. The Abbot of the temple specially presented a piece of lotus embroidery, a symbol of fortune and peace, to President Li Jinyuan.

In the afternoon of the same day, President Li Jinyuan also visited Hai Duong Provincial Government to meet BUI THANH QUYEN, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province. During the friendly talk between both sides, President Li Jinyuan briefly introduced TIENS development history, information about the Vietnam Production Base, development outline of Vietnam TIENS and future development planning of TIENS in Vietnam to the Secretary of Provincial Party Committee. The Secretary of Provincial Party Committee also praised the fast construction speed and the scale of the Vietnam Production Base, and expressed admiration toward the development of TIENS in the world, and indicated his support to the development of TIENS in Vietnam.
